The terror of sudden exposure brings you to the brink of ecstatic decimation. From the far corners these fears erupt and push back the boundaries that kept you hidden and safe. For all your defences, there has never been a moment when the reality of this condition found foothold within your consciousness. It was always lurking behind the latest rubber mask of pretence stretched across your broken face. The mirrors have all been warped into cartoonish mutations of your reflection and those around you are swallowed up in the cackling laugher of constant ridicule. The sharp angled joints of your twisted limbs can only muddle through a pantomime dance with no hope beyond the amusement of a few shattered souls.
