MR. FIST PRESENTS - iTonez

If I had nothing other than a stick and a string, I could conceive a way to make music. The tools at hand should never be an excuse not to create. Better tools do not always mean better products. They only mean more choices which often result in more confusion. Too many choices can be as crippling as too few. The path forward is always the one that demands our next footfall. When one has a clear goal and a focused objective, there is no choice involved. The way is always obvious and never distracted by minor deviations. One may need to veer slightly left or right to avoid certain obstacles, but the averaging out of it all means but a single true direction.

With one finger I can make the world turn. With a single digit I can point to the path and take you there. These places are not ones where the journey is always horizontal. They require little evolution in order to reach their full flower. All that is asked is that you take a breath, take a pause and let it reveal itself. Stop and hear the roses.

Each recording was composed between the hours of 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM on 6 consecutive days beginning on 20150131 and ending on 20150205. Each composition consists of 4 stereo tracks of performance. Each performance was done in one take with no post production other than final mixing and mastering.
