Each compilation is built around a specific musical style or set of styles and contains the equivalent of a double LP’s worth of music. In the snarled depths of the psyche, a jungle of dreams and nightmares tangle together, forming an impenetrable underbrush of mystique and speculation. Only a brute would think to slash through this foliage like some arrogant colonialist, delusional in their intent to tame the wilderness. It takes a far more stealthy approach to begin the process of unraveling these mysteries, a sensuous slithering between the branches in order to fathom their complexity and texture. One must not disturb them in their due course nor thwart their natural inclinations. It is only through gentle accommodation and empathy that their subtle essence may be perceived in all its delicate beauty. These are rare birds and exotic flora, fluttering in the breeze. To disturb them would be a crime, but to ignore them would be a sin. Embrace, but hold softly to their form. Their gifts shall be presented in good time to those patient enough to allow their growth to enfold your nest.
